I’ve had e-mail issues for the last couple of weeks that I’ve just sorted today (my new host has a super-tiny inbox capacity that filled itself much much faster than I anticipated). So if anyone out there sent me a mail in the last couple of weeks that I rudely didn’t reply to, or you got a bounce notification, then try again now – everything should be working properly again.

Okay, it’s not a very original idea these days, but it might produce something interesting. Maybe. Or it might just be me doing a drawing a day for the next 100 days. Starting today.

Some will be experimental, some won’t.  Some will probably turn out guff, but that’s the nature of the beast.  And the quality of the finished drawing will probably vary wildly depending on how much time I have available to do it each day.  I’m not really bigging it up very successfully here, am I?  It’ll be great!

Today is a day that will live long in history – for as the world comes together to watch the first Afro-American president of the United States of America sworn into office, I decided to start a silly personal project by posting a picture of a ladybird on the toilet.

I’ve just done a stack of page redirects since I neglected to realise that everyone would still be following old links and getting a nice big juicy 404 error. So hopefully now all old links will take you to the relevant place on the site.

And if that place is here then hello!

…Everything’s been messed with again. I’ve put pages together in a slightly different way which gives a couple of advantages – now when I put something new in a section it will also appear on the front page, making recent addition more obvious, and also it means that the search box on the right is slightly more accurate, pointing you to individual posts rather than effectively saying “yes, that is on this site” without giving you much clue where to find it.

Unfortunately it also means that the front page looks like arse for the moment, with old posts cluttering up the place and making it all messy, but a couple of updates down the road and everything will be hunky-dory.
